U.S. Amway enters Vietnam Mekong Delta market

Amway Vietnam Co. Ltd., an affiliate of the U.S.’s Amway which specializes in Nutrilite functional products and Artistri cosmetic products, has opened a branch in Can Tho city, the first of its kind in the Mekong Delta region, said a firm official.

The branch located in Ninh Kieu district will be a distribution center for Amway Vietnam to introduce its products, services and business opportunities to consumers in Can Tho and neighboring provinces, General Director of Amway Vietnam Looe Chee Seng.

“We hope that the presence of the Can Tho branch, along with one in Ho Chi Minh City, will bring a new momentum to the southern market”, he added.

The firm will open two more branches this year with one in Hanoi and the other in Danang city. It is also expanding operations of its factory in Amata Industrial Park in Dong Nai province. – VCCI
