Two wind power plants to be built in central highland

Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee has recently granted license for two wind power plant projects in Da Lat and Duc Trong, which are expected to be in operational by 2013, the local VnExpress newspaper said.
Accordingly, a wind power plant in Tram Hanh commune (Da Lat city) with a designed capacity of 300 MW will be divided into 10 stages.

The first phase in December 2011 with a capacity of 30 MW is expected to complete within 24 months of construction and start operation by late 2013.

In addition, the Ninh Loan wind power plant (Duc Trong district) has been also being carried out to start construction by 2013.
