Tra Vinh approves $4.5b project

Tra Vinh provincial People’s Committee yesterday officially approved Le Hai Construction and Trading Co Ltd to carry out Dinh An economic zone and a petrochemical plant here.

Dinh An EZ is designed with total area of 39,020 hectares in Tra Cu and Duyen Hai districts of Tra Vinh province, costing an estimated total of $4.5 billion with main functional area, tariff and non-tariff areas. First phase (15,403 hectares is to build Tra Cu deepwater port and resort tourism site, urban area, Duyen Hai power centre and infrastructure.
