Tourism Info Center to Open in Vietnam Capital City Early 2010

Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi will operate a tourism information center early next year in an effort to lure more international visitors.

Located at 28th Hang Buom Street, the center will provide information about old quarters as well as the city’s other historical relics.

Hanoi has 511 accommodation centers with more than 12,700 rooms, including 178 ranked hotels with 8424 rooms (eight five-star hotels, six four-star hotels, and 19 three-star hotels).

Currently, the number of foreign tourists to the city accounts for 33% of that of the whole country.
