Techcombank to fund Dakdrinh hydropower plant

Vietnam Technological Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) on October 1, 2010 signed the funding contract for relending the loans for Dakdrinh Hydropower Joint Stock Co to carry out construction project of Dakdrinh hydropower plant.

Accordingly, Techcombank committed to fund 200 billion dong for construction works on the hydropower within the period of 12 months.

The Dakdrinh hydropower plant was sited on Dak Drinh River Basin in Son Tay Dist, Quang Ngai province, and one part of Kon Plong Lake, Kon Tum province. The hydropower plant has designed capacity of 125 MW, with expected power output of 527.9 KWh per year.
