Tan Cang Logistics plans to reach whole year net profit of 116b dong

Tan Cang Logistics and Stevedoring Joint Stock Co (coded TCL) has lately released the 2011 year plan with targeted revenue of 902.2 billion dong, pre-tax profit of 152.3 billion dong and after tax profit of 116.1 billion dong, equivalent to EPS of 5,358 dong.



The company also planned to upgrade the Container Depot 9 sited in total area of 3.5 hectares and to adjust the material price in input costs.



TCL’s management board also approved for hiking chartered capital in 2011 via offering 4,506,012 shares for strategic partners of Tan Cang Saigon Corp and strategic investors; and 2,243,988 shares for existing shareholders. The raised capital from offering these 6.3 million shares will be used to invest in constructing two KE cranes (Gantry Crane) worth over 5.2 million euros and $1.6 million respectively.



At the same time, the company’s management board also passed the plan of purchasing 375,000 shares of Cat Lai Port Joint Stock Co at price of 15,000 dong per share.



TCL will hold its annual shareholders meeting on March 15, 2011.
