Tam Hiep port and bus factory built in Quang Nam

The constructions of Tam Hiep port and a bus factory were kicked off yesterday in Tam Hiep commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province.

The two constructions are invested by Truong Hai Auto Corporation with a total capital of VND 2,940 billion (US$154.8 million).

Tam Hiep port covers an area of 246 hectares, including 300 metre long wharf. The first phase will include the construction of 58 hectares of the port with an investment of VND 649 billion.

The bus factory, which occupies an area of 15 hectares, has an investment capital of VND 600 billion on its first phase.

These constructions are scheduled to be completed in eight months.

On this occasion, Truong Hai Auto Corporation also inaugurated its steel processing factory and mechanical factory with a total capital of VND 435 billion (US$22.9 million).
