Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange Centre debuts

The Subcontracting and Partnership Exchange (SPX) Centre of Vietnam made its debut in Hanoi on May 11.

The SPX Centre aims to connect domestic businesses, especially industrial manufacturing companies, with a network of suppliers in the selected sectors of mechanical engineering, industrial rubber and plastic, electricity-electronics, energy and industrial services.

The centre is part of the “Platform for Investment Monitoring and Supplier Development”, sponsored by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI).

The development of the SPX will lay the foundation for UNIDO to provide the MPI with technical assistance to formulate strategies and promote investment.  -VOV
