Steel price increased

Steel companies reduced steel prices by three million dong per tonne in the period of the end of May to the early of June

Due to this drop, in some cases domestic enterprises had to sell at a loss. According to some companies, they had to sell lower than even the material price- big loss against market cost during May-June. Therefore, the companies have adjusted steel price by increasing it from 600,000 dong up to 700,000 dong per tonne (selling price from 13.4 million dong up to 13.5 million dong per tonne) in the early of July

Steel companies said that they still are selling at a loss of thousands dong per tonne, however, the experts believed the companies have started earning profit due to this increase in price effected from the early of this month.
