Statistics on communication services released

The Department of Information and Communications published its survey about the usage of phones, internet and audio-visual services in Ha Noi.

As many as 2,576 million people in Ha Noi possess mobile phones, accounting for 45 per cent of the population.

Among the 407,000 households in Ha Noi, 28 per cent have computers, 22 per cent own Internet-connected computers, while 16 per cent are able to use the Internet.

About 97 per cent of households have televisions, of which 31 per cent have access to cable television services. — VNS
