State Audit to audit Vietsovpetro on April 5
The State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) has recently announced its working calendar during the week between April 4 and 8, a local media reported.
Accordingly, on Monday (April 4), SAV approved the auditing plan for Ha Tinh Trading and Minerals Corp and five projects invested by PMU of Nghi Son economic zone.
On the same day, SAV also audited the Tran Phu‐National Road No 1A road project.
On Tuesday (April 5), SAV will carry out special audit for the management and use of funds for repairing and maintaining of roads and railways.
SAV will also audit the investment projects of building the working houses for National Assembly agencies and offices.
Also on the same day, SAV will carry out audit for Vietnam News Agency, Voice of Vietnam, Ministry of Justice, 135 programme and Vietnam‐Russia Petroleum Joint Venture (Vietsovpetro).
In 2010, Vietsovpetro gained a revenue of $3.93 billion, state budget payment at $2.25 billion, exceeding the year’s plans.
At the same time, in 2010, Vietsovpetro also marked a record on putting into operations the oil and gas exploitation projects such as RC‐Doi Moi, RC‐4, RC‐5, BK‐15, BK‐9, BK‐14, RC1/RC3.
As of being established till December 31, 2010, Vietsovpetro exploited 6.4 million tonnes of oil as committed with the leader of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) and Vietnamese government.
In November 2010, Vietnam and Russia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand the operation cooperation of Vietsovpetro till December 31, 2030.
On Wednesday (April 6), SAV will audit the State Securities Commission (SSC). In addition, SAV will also audit for Lai Chau province, Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and Vietnam Institute of Social Science. – Vietbiz24
