Song Da 9 plans to raise chartered capital to 450b dong


Nguyen Dang Lanh, chair of management board of Song Da Joint Stock Co No 9 (coded SD9) announced that the company would hold the 2011 annual shareholders meeting on April 20 to seek approval about targeted business plan. In details, SD9 aimed to obtain total revenue of 750 billion dong, profit of 80 billion dong in 2011.



In the first quarter of this year, the company set targets to reach 192.7 billion dong of revenue and 15 billion dong of profit.



Lanh added that SD9 was seeking approval from Dong Da Group about raising chartered capital from 300 billion dong to 450 billion dong in 2011 to make investment in some subsidiaries.



This year, the company signed contracts for carrying out construction works on large projects such as Lai Chau hydropower plant, and some traffic roads.



In 2010, SD9 posted total revenue of 723.91 billion dong and pre-tax profit of 80.15 billion dong.
