Song Ba JSC operates second turbine with capacity of 32MW

Song Ba Joint Stock Co (coded SBA) announced to put into trial operation the second turbine of Krong H’nang hydropower plant for 72 houses and officially join the national grid on Sep 3, 2010.

The turbine is being operated with 100 percent designed capacity of 32MW. Previously, the company had operated the first turbine of the hydropower plant on June 25, and up to Sep 1, 2010, the hydropower plant had produced 47.57 million KWh, gaining revenue of over 30.3 billion dong.

The company revealed that with the operation of two turbines, it was estimated to produce about 153 million KWh of commercial power, gaining total revenue of 97 billion dong by the end of this year.
