SJC among leading retailer in Asia-Pacific region

Singapore’s Retail Asia Magazine has listed the Saigon Jewelry Holding Company (SJC) among top 500 retailers in the Asia-Pacific region.

This is the fifth year SJC has been in the list. It has also won a silver prize for a leading retailer in Vietnam.

In the first seven months of this year, SJC earned more than VND48,170 billion in turnover, and over VN344 billion in profit, up 210 percent and 119 percent respectively compared to the same period last year.

Top ten Vietnam leading retailers are Saigon Coopmart, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ), Nguyen Kim electronics supermarket chain, Mobile World, Big C supermarket chain, Parkson supermarket chain, Best Carings electronic supermarket chain, G7 mart, and Diamond Plaza).

The list was based on business results of companies in 14 countries and territories, including Australia, China, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The awards ceremony will be held in Beijing, China, on November 9.
