Singaporean franchise experiences introduced

A workshop to popularise Singaporean franchise businesses in Vietnam was held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 9.

The workshop, jointly held by the Vietcham Expo Company and the Singaporean company Astreem, Singaporean franchisers, including Pasta Mania, Polar Puffs, 3-Monkeys Cafe, Worldwide Wings, Kooshi, Animaland and TTQ Massage discussed experiences in the franchise sector.

The Deputy Chairman of the Singaporean Franchising and Licensing Association (FLA), Mr T. Chandroo, pointed out Vietnam’s potential market and said that he hopes the workshop will help franchise increase Vietnamese-Singaporean economic ties by promoting the franchise sector.

While Hsien Naidu, the founder of Astreem, said that in the future, Astreem also plans to introduce Singaporean brand names in the education and service sectors to Vietnam.
