Buying Tet gifts online has become an increasingly popular choice in Vietnam – especially with office workers.

Quynh said that the Internet boom and the digital era now allow shoppers to purchase the things they want very easy and quickly. With just mouse clicks, shoppers can obtain all information about the products, and with just clicks, they can pay money and then get the goods just several hours later.

Quynh related that she and her colleagues not only go shopping online for Tet, but they always visit online market to purchase anything they want.

Meanwhile, Hoichovietnam.com has everything for Tet days, from liquor to wine, tea and even peach and kumquat trees. People can place orders by email or call the supplier. Consumers in Hanoi and HCM City will get goods with no delivery fee, even they order one product only.

Nguyen Thi Yen, administrator of the website, said that more orders have come this year than the previous year thanks to the economic recovery. It is estimated that some 10,000 visitors access the website every day. The website has just received orders for 1,000 Tet gift baskets.

The administrator of Gioquatet.com said that the number of orders has become so big that the company has stopped accepting new orders.
