Security World 2010 Conference & Showcase to Open in Hanoi
The 5th Security World 2010 Conference and Showcase will be co-organized on 23-24 March, in Hanoi Towers Conference Centre by IT Department, General Department of Logistics &Technology – Ministry of Public Security (MoPS), Vietnam Computer Emergency Response (VNCERT) – Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and International Data Group (IDG Vietnam).
Coming on the heel of the 1st successful CSO Awards (Chief Security Officer) which honored 9 outstanding CSOs from state – owned companies and enterprises, along with practical experience on hosting four Security World events, Board of Organization are more acutely aware of the vital role played by CSOs and information security to the well- being of institutional growth.
This year’s event featured the main theme of: “Building a practical information security strategy in today’s challenging business environment†will put stress on high – effective and cost – saving solutions which enable enterprises to optimize security investment’s benefit in the context of security budget being tightened during the financial crisis. will put stress on high – effective and cost – saving solutions which enable enterprises to optimize security investment’s benefit in the context of security budget being tightened during the financial crisis.
The showcase taken place alongside the conference is set to introduce and display information security solutions and technologies such as IT Management, Risk management, compliance, standardization, business continuity, data and storage security, authentication, security monitoring…which have been applied domestically and internationally.
