Saigon – Ninh Chu Hotel, 7 km from the heart of Phan Rang City on the east, is a familiar destination for domestic and international visitors. To increase the capital and expand business operations, on May on 31, 1999, the Ninh Thuan Province People’s Committee issued Decision No. 1660/QD-UBND on the establishment of Ninh Chu Hotel Joint Stock Company from the restructuring of a state-owned entity with an initial capital of VND3.3 billion. In 2002, Ninh Chu Hotel Joint Stock Company was granted additional 3.45 hectares of land, totalling 6.5 hectares, and funds for upgrading the infrastructure into a four-star accommodation. Then, the company was formally renamed to the Saigon – Ninh Chu Tourism Joint Stock Company.
Saigon – Ninh Chu Hotel project cost VND117 billion in total, carried out in two phases. The VND80 billion first phase includes a hotel with 102 rooms, including 8 suites, one 25-seat restaurant, one beach garden for 700-1,000 guests, five meeting rooms from 100 to 600 seats, four bars and roof coffee house, massage centres, swimming pools and tennis courts. The second phase is calling for partners.
Apart from infrastructure investment and operating expansion, the company also attaches much importance to human resources development. Its staffs are regularly sent to short term and long term training course in order to improve their service quality. It also exchanges staffs with 5-star hotels in Ho Chi Minh City or send its staffs to 4-5-star hotels in Ho Chi Minh City to learn.
The current products and services at Saigon – Ninh Chu are very attractive to tourists. Its revenues thus grow up steadily. For instance, the revenues in the first nine months of 2008 jumped 45 percent from the same period in 2007. Last but not least, Saigon – Ninh Chu will develop new products and services such as mud massage, special summer tours (2 days and 1 night, 3 days and 2 nights, 4 days and 3 nights), joined tours with travel firms, etc. Besides, Saigon – Ninh Chu have other new services like beach yoga, cooking show, fishing, monastery visit, camping and picnic in Binh Tien (a new discovery near Cam Ranh Bay).
To maintain and develop the brand of 4-star beach hotel – the first and unique in Phan Rang City, Saigon – Ninh Chu Hotel has adopted specific business strategies such as pricing strategy (off-peak price, week-opening price, package tour price, etc.), and promotion policies (VIP cards and membership cards).
