Saigon Hi-tech Park grants license for hi-tech research
Saigon Hi-tech Park granted an investment license to Chip Sang & Ashmanov Company to develop artificial intelligence and design software related to computer science on September 29.
Chip Sang & Ashmanov Company (CSA) is a joint venture between Chip Sang Joint Stock Company and Ashmanov and Partners (Russia).
CSA will focus on researching and developing artificial intelligence – the intelligence of machines and the branch of computer science that aims to create it.
Chip Sang Joint Stock Company officially signed a strategic agreement with Ashmanov and Partners (Russia) for developing projects and services in e- marketing, e-commerce and e-content through the internet in 2010.
Saigon Hi-tech Park is for hi-tech enterprises, turning out hi-tech products, providing hi-tech services and conducting hi-tech research. It is located 15 kilometres from downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Hi-tech investors are given preferential treatment here with land lease and taxation, as well as support in custom services.
26 companies are in operation in the park in 2011, employing more than 11,000 employees and a total registered investment of US$2 billion. This park aims at promoting Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam as a hi-tech investor friendly destination.
