Rubber producer estimates to gain H1 profit of 100b dong

Nguyen Thanh Hai, chair of management board cum general director of Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Co (coded DPR) said the company estimated to gain 300 billion dong of total revenue in the first six months of 2010, and over 100 billion dong of pre-tax profit. It’s considered positive business results thanks to the high sales price of rubber products from the beginning of the year up to now.

In comparison with the 2010 yearly business plan of 735.5 billion dong in revenue and 232.8 billion dong of pre-tax profit, the company has fulfilled 50 percent of the year plan. If the rubber export price retained at over 50 million dong per tonne at present, the company would be able to fulfil the year plan.
