Rolls-Royce, Vietnam Airlines meet

Rolls-Royce, a global power systems company, met this week with Viet Nam Airlines’ executive leaders to discuss development strategy, leadership and change management.

“Our training and executive education programmes in Viet Nam continue to grow in strength. This is testimony to the strong working relations between Rolls-Royce and Vietnamese business leaders,” said Patrick Regis, regional director of Rolls-Royce in Viet Nam.

Around 40 senior staff of Vietnam Airlines attended the one-day workshop in Nha Trang with the aim of becoming a leading carrier in the ASEAN region.

“Our goal is to improve our product to raise competitiveness with other major network carriers in the region. Training our people plays an important part in this,” said Pham Ngoc Minh, chief executive officer of Vietnam Airlines.

A similar workshop with Vietnam Airline Leasing Company was also conducted in Ha Noi.
