Robert Bosch opens new high-tech research centre in HCM City

Friedhelm Pickhard, chair cum general director of Robert Bosch Engineering & Solutions Co announced to open a new high-tech research centre in HCM City yesterday, in a working session with the city’s vice chair of HCM City People’s Committee.

In the meeting, Pickhard expressed his concerns about the two issues of project’s site and human resources.

The city’s leaders introduced Robert Bosch the land that meets the foreign investor’s demands with total area of at least 20,000 square metres. However, Robert Bosch would like to change the construction ratio for development purposes in the future. The local authorities have already approved the suggestions from Robert Bosch.

As for the human resource issue, Robert Bosch can cooperate with universities and IT training college for improving the training quality to meet the demands of qualification.
