Retail gas prices suddenly rise VND17,000/cylinder

The retail prices of domestic gas will increase by VND17,000 per 12 kilo cylinder to between VND320,000 per cylinder from 7.30 a.m tomorrow

The retail prices of domestic gas will increase by VND17,000 per 12 kilo cylinder to between VND320,000 per cylinder from 7.30 a.m tomorrow due to the recent VND devaluation of 9.3% this morning , the local newspaper VnExpress reported February 11, quoted Do Trung Thanh, deputy sales manager of Saigon Petrol Gas said.

At the beginning of this month, local gas traders cut between VND15,000-VND22,000 per 12 kilo cylinder.

The gas prices hike comes from the recent exchange rate adjustment this morning, Le Phuc Dai, General Director of Vinagas said.
