Retail gas prices rise VND5,000/cylinder

The retail prices of domestic gas continue uptrend momentum as rising by VND5,000 per 12 kilo cylinder to around VND348,000 per cylinder from April 1 due to higher world prices

The retail prices of domestic gas continue uptrend momentum as rising by VND5,000 per 12 kilo cylinder to around VND348,000 per cylinder from April 1 due to higher world prices , the local newspaper SGTT reported on late March 31.

The world prices of gas increased to $882.5/ton for April, up $42.5/ton from March.

the domestic gas prices has increased twice with a total rise of VND19,000 per 12 kilo cylinder in just a week and extended the rally to VND30,000 per 12 kilo cylinder in March.

The prices of fuel have continued rising recently, pressuring on the country’s efforts to tame inflation.

Earlier on March 29, the retail prices of petrol also rose up 15%, raising fuel prices by 30% in March in two straight upward adjustments – Stoxplus.com
