Research and markets: Vietnam’s automotive update out now

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/ca344c/vietnams_automoti) has announced the addition of the “Vietnam’s Automotive Update” report to their offering.

In Q1 2011, Vietnam experienced increasing imports of complete built units (CBUs) as well as care parts and components, an amount that largely differs from previous forecast. Accordingly, 14,800 CBUs worth US$262 million was imported, which meant an increase of 54.8 percent and 62.2 percent, respectively, compared with the same period of 2010. There has been a major change in the supply side. South Korea retained first position, followed by Japan, Thailand, China, and Indonesia.
