PVI signs re-insurance contract with VNH

The PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corp (coded PVI) yesterday officially inked the re-insurance contract with Vietnam Helicopter Corp, with total contract value of $172.5 million. The re-insurance contract was expected to last from April 21, 2011 to April 20, 2012.

PVI has officially provided aviation insurance services for VNH since 2009. After that, the insurance provider has often been selected as the principal insurance supplier for the company in 2010 and 2011. At present, VNH has owned and managed a modern team of 23 helocopters worth $191.5 million.
