PV Oil signs contract for selling crude oil

PetroVietnam Oil Corp (PV Oil) officially signed the contract for selling crude oil pumped from two oil fields of Te Giac Trang and Chim Sao with PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corp (PVEP), SOCO Vietnam Co, OPECO Co, PTTEP Hoang Long Co and Talisman Vietnam Co.
The contract was signed in HCM City on September 16, 2011.

These area two oil fields with considerable reserves to be in exploration in the past few days. The average production capacity in Chim Sao oil field was posted at 20,000-25,000 barrels per day while in Te Giac Trang oil field of 35,000-40,000 barrels per day.

On the same day, Hoang Long Operating Joint Venture, representative of the investors including PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corp (PVEP, the UK-based SOCO Co, Thailand-based PTTEP Co and the US-based OPECO Co, held the ceremony in HCM City to celebrate the first oil flow to be pumped from Te Giac Trang Oil Field. – Thanhnien
