PV Gas builds new gas storage plant

The PetroVietnam Gas Corp (PV Gas) is in negotiations to borrow US$700 million from foreign lenders to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage facility in central Binh Thuan province.

The company said it needs US$1 billion for the plant and construction work is expected to start next year. Once operational in 2015, the plant will be able to store 3 million tones of liquefied natural gas. – VOV
