PTSC buys another oil tanker

The Vietnam Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) on July 15 received an oil tanker it bought from the Greatship India Ltd – GIL, a PTSC official said.

The 19-million-USD oil tanker, PTSC Thang Long, has raised the total number of PTSC’s oil tankers to 20.

PTSC is seen as a leading maritime transport provider in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia , accounting for over 90 percent of the domestic petroleum transport market.

The corporation has set a target of raising its total number of cargo ships to 100 by 2025, dominating the domestic petroleum transport market and holding 30 percent of the region’s.
