Prudential Vietnam reports 2010 performance

Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Co (Prudential Vietnam) has recently officially announced its business results in 2010.

Prudential Vietnam’s financial report showed its revenue from new contracts increased 25.4 percent to reach 1.227 trillion dong and total premium at 5.424 trillion dong, growing 13.6 percent year‐on‐year. The total number of valid contracts increased to 3.8 million against 3.5 million in 2009 and its market share on premium gained 41.4 percent.

In the international markets, Prudential Group also posted a 23 percent growth in new contracts to reach 3.485 billion UK pounds ($5.602 billion), its profit from new contracts increased 25 percent to two billion pounds and IGD capital surplus at 4.3 billion pounds. – Vietbiz24
