Province exports $18.7m in cassava

Tay Ninh Province exported 34,519 tonnes of cassava tapioca during the past nine months, earning US$18.74 million in value, which is a 39-per-cent increase over the same period last year.

The increase of the export is congruent with increasing demand and price of the product on the global market.

The province processed over 1.4 million tonnes of raw cassava, up 65.5 per cent year on year and about 351,280 tonnes of tapioca.
