Production value in construction sector reaches 68.824tr dong in first six months

Ministry of construction revealed that the business results in June and the first six months of this year among its member companies reached positive growth, in comparison with that of last year. The production value in June was estimated at 12.737 trillion dong, and in the first half of this year of 68.824 trillion dong, equal to 125.4 percent against the same period of last year.

In details, the construction value contributed by the subsidiaries was posted at 5.723 trillion dong in June, and 29.851 trillion dong in first six months, equivalent to 126 percent year-on-year. The value of industrial production and construction materials reached 4.498 trillion dong in June only and 25.145 trillion dong in first six months, or 128.9 percent against that of 1009, while the import costs of $31.4 million in June and $158.9 million in Jan-June and export turnover of $19 million and $76.7 million respectively.
