PM approves Vietnam-Algeria agricultural cooperation agreement

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has given the nod to an agreement on agricultural cooperation between Vietnam and Algeria.

Under a decision signed on November 4, the PM asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to finalise diplomatic procedures to ratify the agreement and inform relevant agencies of the day it will become effective. He also assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with relevant agencies to implement it.

The agreement was signed in Algiers on November 21, 2004, marking an important milestone in Vietnam-Algeria cooperative relations.
