Phap Van-Cau Gie road to be upgraded into expressway

Vietnam Expressway Investment and Development Corp (VEC) have lately submitted to Ministry of Transport a proposal of upgrading Hanoi’s Phap Van-Cau Gie road into an expressway.

Accordingly, Phap Van-Cau Gie Expressway will have six lanes with designed speed of 120 km/h. If getting approval, the project will be conducted from 2011 to 2014 with total investment capital of 2.43 trillion dong.

The new expressway is 30 kilometres long, with the starting point of crossroad with Hanoi’s ring road No 3 in Phap Van and the ending point connecting with Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway.
