PetroVietnam posted total revenues of VND342trillion in the third quarter, equivalent to 25% of the country’s GDP, the local newswire NDHMoney reported October 7.

The petroleum giant said its total revenues fulfilled 119% of its nine-month target and 104% of year target, up 67% on year.

Petrovietnam’s export turnover hit $6.54billion in the same period, up 24% on year and account for 14% of the country’s export turnover, the enterprise announced, adding that it exploited 18.13 million tons of oil in Q3, including 11.03 million tons of crude oil, 7.1billion m3 of gas, said the enterprises.

In the remaining months of the year, Petrovietnam plans to exploit 6.14 million tons of oil, raising the exploitation revenues to 23million tons, including 15tons of crude oil and 8 tons of gas.

PetroVietnam plans to achieve VND91.5800billion of total revenues in the last quarter to reach VND433.580billion of total revenues.

PetroVietnam Gas, which supplies fuel to produce 40 % of Vietnam’s electrical output and 30 % of the nation’s fertilizer, will probably be listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the country’s main bourse, a year after the share sale, according to a statement on the company’s website. – Stoxplus.com
