PetroVietnam Affiliate Signs Oil & Gas Service Deals worth Nearly US$800M
PetroVietnam Technical Services JS Company (PTSC) signed oil and gas service contracts worth nearly US$800 million with its partners on November 19.
PTSC inked a deal with Premier Oil Company for Chim Sao oil project, a contract with Hoang Long JOC for Te Giac Trang oil project, the Topaz project with Caligari Vietnam and a repairing and maintenance Cuu Long JOC.
The PetroVietnam affiliate also clinched a contract to supply the FSO-5 vessel to Vietnam-Russia Oil and Gas Joint Venture (Vietsovpetro) to serve the latter’s operations in Bach Ho oilfield.
Vinashin Business Group (Vinashin), the country’s top shipbuilder, has been hired to build the US$208-million vessel to hand over it next March.
President Nguyen Minh Triet bestowed PTSC with the Labor Order for recognition of as the leading firm of oil and gas services in Vietnam.
In addition to the domestic market, PTSC is expanding its operations abroad, including China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. (chinhphu.vn)
