Petro Vietnam to resume operations at Dung Quat oil refinery in Vietnam
State owned Petro Viet Nam said it will resume full operations at its Dung Quat Oil refinery located in Quang Ngai, Vietnam, next week.
The refinery is currently operating at 70% capacity, will commence operations following two months of scheduled maintenance work.
A second overall maintenance of the refinery is planned to be carried out in four years.
Petro Viet Nam deputy director Vu Quang Nam said during the first eight months of the year, the output of oil and gas was around 64 and 73% of the planned yearly target, with an excess of 16% in turnover.
Petro Viet Nam plans to set up new oil fields at Dai Hung, Chim Sao and Dana by the end of the year, reports vietnamnewsagency.com.
