One billion VND project gets underway in Quang Ninh

The Kinh Bac Corparation broke the ground on the Phuong Nam industrial zone in Uong Bi town, Northern Quang Ninh province.

Located close to national highways 10 and 18, the VND1,108 billion project project will cover a total area of 569.27 ha. With a 110KV electric line, abundant water supplies from the Uong Bi Water Plant, a good drainage system, it is expected to attract US$1-2 billion in FDI and create as many as 50,000 jobs for local people involved in import and export activities.

Phuong Nam industrial zone

As part of the Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh economic triangle, Quang Ninh has given special priority to developing high-tech industries to re-structure its economic sector.

The Phuong Nam industrial zone is a very significant project for domestic and foreign businesses to invest in Uong Bi town.
