Ocean Group signs contract to realise Song Bac hydropower plant project

Toan Phat Industrial and Construction Joint Stock Co and Ocean Group have signed a cooperation contract to build Song Bac hydropower plant last weekend.

The new hydropower plant will be built on Bac River, in Tan trinh Commune, Quang Binh Dist, Ha Giang province with designed capacity of 42 MW. The plant was expected to produce about 166.51 million KWh per year.

The project includes two bidding packages. The first bidding package was supposed to be started on Sep 23, 2010 and completed on July 23, 2012 with total construction value of over 106 billion dong. The second bidding package worth 162 billion dong was to be started in June 2011 and finished in October 2012. – Dau tu
