Nippon to begin steel pipe production

The Nippon Steel Pipe Viet Nam Co Ltd has commissioned a steel pipe plant at the Phu My 2 Industrial Zone in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
NPV is a joint venture consisting of the Nippon Steel Corporation, Metal One Corp, Viet Nam Steel Corp, Sumitomo, Marubeni Itochu Steel Inc, Hanwa Co, Ltd and the Nippon Steel Trading Co with capital of US$15 million, Nippon Steel Corporation holding a majority stake of 51 percent. – Source:Vietbiz24.com.
