New power station for Dong Nai

A 70MW power station will begin to generate electricity in the first quarter of 2012, with annual output of 290 million kWh.

The Trung Nam hydroelectric power joint stock company has signed an agreement to equip the Dong Nai hydroelectric power project in Lam Dong province.

The plant is situated on the Da Dang River, a tributary of the Dong Nai River in Di Linh district, Lam Dong province. This is the third power station to be built on the Dong Nai River.

The plant is expected to pay off its capital costs in 10 years. – VOV
