New opportunity for Vietnamese fashion businesses

Three Vietnamese fashion agents are taking in the 2010 Spring-Summer Fashion Week in Hong Kong, China from July 5-8.

This is the firs time Vietnam has taken part in the event alongside other well-known fashion businesses.

They are the TNG Trade and Investment Joint Stock Company from Thai Nguyen province, the Nhat Produce Garment Co,.Ltd from Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam Knitted Garment Company from Thua-Thien Hue province.

Vietnamese trade counselor to Hong Kong and Macao, Vu Thinh Cuong, said that the week is an annual fair and exhibition in Hong Kong with the participation of many world famous fashion agents. This is a good chance for Vietnamese businesses to seek partners and expand their markets, he said.

TNG sales manager, Nguyet Viet Thang, said that several foreign businesses at the week expressed interest in his company. “The fair will help the company to properly observe the market trend and devise strategic plans,” he said.

1,700 booths represent fashion agents from all over the world at the 2010 Spring-Summer Fashion Week.
