Murata manufacturing establishes affiliates in India and Vietnam

Murata Manufacturing has established Murata Electronics (India) Private Limited, a sales company in India, and a sales agent company, Murata Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. Both companies begin operation on October 1, 2010.

Murata Manufacturing has established Murata Electronics (India) Private Limited, a sales company in India, and a sales agent company, Murata Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. Both companies begin operation on October 1, 2010.

Significant increase in electric component demands is expected in India, where its population is the second largest in the world, and its strong economic growth is expected to continue.

Murata had established a liaison office at Chennai, located in southern India in February 2007 to perform marketing activities in India.

Sales company Murata Electronics (India) Private Limited was established in aims to achieve No.1 market share position in emerging markets, a goal proposed in Murata’s Mid-to-Long Term Direction, to begin on October 1, 2010.

An increasing number of equipment manufacturers are relocating to Vietnam seeking for more reasonable and high-quality labor. Murata had established a liaison office in Hanoi on October 2007 to promote our marketing activities.

Sales agent company Murata Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established to further strengthen Murata services for local customers, and will begin its operation on October 1, 2010.
