More passenger jets will arrive in Vietnam

Airports are making expansion plans in Vietnam.

The Tan Son Nhut Airport is to be expanded to create space to service 10 additional passenger jets.

Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport also has plans to add more space to meet the demand for air travel to the country.

The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam will now decide on construction procedures for the expansion plans.

Capacity at Tan Son Nhut Airport is currently just enough to serve 20 million passengers a year, or 54,800 passengers a day.

An excess of 58,000 passengers a day has been seen at times at the airport. – malaysianews
