MobiFone joins hands with mobile-search service

Local mobile carrier MobileFone on Tuesday joined hands with Viet Nam Digital Corp Area 1 (VDC1) to launch mobile-search service – msearch, based on socbay technology of Naiscorp.

The service promises to provide mobile users with relevant search results of information, pictures, sounds and ads. This service uses a client supporting nearly 300 mobile lines prevailing in Viet Nam, operating on GPRS base and high speed 3G.

Msearch, aiming to attract businessmen and young people, has been develped to meet the rising demand for search engines on mobile devices in the growing market of smartphone and 3G services.
