Ministry pledges adequate oil and petrol supply

Businesses have confirmed they will import sufficient petrol and oil to align with their plans registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), and will supply enough for domestic consumption.

The MoIT emphasised this on February 20 in response to the recent information about the supply of petrol and oil.

It asked wholesalers to reserve all types of petrol and oil according to their annual plans and control their distribution network to ensure that all petrol stations are able to stay open during regular times.

The Market Management Department under the MoIT will work with related agencies to detect illegal activities related to selling price, measurements and quality as well as speculation, smuggling and misinformation. – VOV
