Messer industrial gas plant officially in operation

Messer Hai Phong Industrial Gas Co Ltd has officially inaugurated and put into operation the largest industrial gas plant with designed capacity of 8,500 Nm3 per hour (normal cubic metre).

With the total investment capital of $20 million, the new plant is situated in Hoa Phat Cast Iron and Steel Complex in Hiep Son Commune, Kinh Mon Dist, Hai Duong province. The Germany-based Messer Group is the main investor for this project.

The plant provides industrial gas such as oxygen, nitrogen and argon to serve for Hoa Phat Cast Iron and Steel Complex via gas pipeline system. In addition, the liquefied gas will be used in such sectors as steel production, food processing, pharmaceutical, manufacturing cars and motorbikes, light industry in the northern and central region. – Dautu
