Many airlines propose 10-15 percent increases in airfare

Many airlines that operate in Vietnam have proposed an increase in airfare from 10-15 percent.

Nguyen Van Cong, Head of the Office of the Ministry of Transport, said that such an adjustment is inevitable as the prices petrol and many related services have gone up.

“However, there must be careful discussion about the way and time for the aviation sector to raise the price of air tickets as well as close supervision by relevant agencies,” Cong said. – VOV
