Manulife Vietnam revenue from insurance premium up 32pct in Q2

Manulife Vietnam Insurance Co released the second-quarter (Q2) business results with a year-on-year increase of 32 percent in revenue from insurance premium.
The impressive growth rate in April-June period resulted from expanding agency network as well as introducing the new insurance products of Phuc Tho Phu The in Vietnamese markets in June.

David Wong, vice chair of Manulife Group in charge of Southeast Asian market revealed that within a very short time, the group’s products of Phuc Tho Phu The has set up record in sales revenue, making great contribution to the company’s business results in June.

In Q2, Manulife saw an increase of 24 percent against the same period last year in terms of development the network of insurance agents. By the end of June, Manulife Vietnam has over 10,000 professional insurance agents.
