Manufacturing Hanoi 2010 exhibition opens

The 6th Manufacturing Hanoi exhibition officially opened at the National Exhibition and Fair Centre on May 18.

On addressing the opening ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thanh Bien, said that the exhibition is not only an opportunity for businesses to seek new markets but also enables domestic manufacturers to examine and learn about technologies to increase their competitiveness.

The exhibition, on a site of 6,000sq.m, has attracted many businesses from 12 countries and territories such as Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and China.

On display are 320 stands, divided into three categories. These include Machine Tools and Automation, Plastics and Rubber, Packaging and Printing, Printing and Labelling, the Food Technology Industry; Machinery and Soft Furnishings.

Manufacturing Hanoi 2010, organised by the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Joint Stock Company (Vinexad) in coordination with the Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Company from Hong Kong, will last until May 21.
